It's a BOY!!!
And we all thought girl... except for Alex.  'Cause he's the smartest.
And I have to dig out the scanner so you can see pictures. But my butt hurts from my shot about an hour ago, so that will have to wait.
I woke up yesterday at 5:30 with horrible back pain and kind-of cramping.  The pain was solid, not coming and going like contractions, but still I could barely move.  So I went to the doctor. (the doc on call said I could wait until my OB's office opened)- got there at 9:25 and didnt leave until 12:05. Oh my gosh, I'm so glad I didn't have any kids with me.  The people in the waiting room at the same time as me were super obnoxious.. I was ready to smack them all about 3 minutes after they walked in the door.
Anyways, everything looked okay, cervix checked, baby's heart rate was good, etc.  We have to wait for results to see if I have an infection.  Hopefully we'll know by tomorrow.  She didn't think it was emergent enough to send me to the hospital for an ultrasound right then, but did want me to get in this week.  So at 9:15 this morning, that's where I was.  By myself.  It was supposed to be a big family adventure on the 17th... Jesse's parents were going to come down, and come with both of us an the kids.  Oh well. I did buy a dvd of it though so everyone could see everything.  Everything looked okay.  My cervix is okay, and I'm guessing my fluid levels, too, since they didn't say anything.  His head was really low, though.  It didn't surprise me at all, since my babies do that.  I dropped at 31 weeks with Alex and 28 with Danica, so it's nothing crazy for me.  But it was so low that they had trouble getting measurements for a while.  So that could be part of the pains, too.  He is so active so much of the time, and probably will be for ever, just like the other two.  He's measuring right on track, weighing 10 or 11 ounces, and we're sticking with the November 24th due date.
I go back to the doctor on Tuesday for my regular appointment... she'll have all the results of everything by then too.  If my shots keep wearing off too quickly, I might have to switch to daily pills, though my doctor is not a fan because of the side effects.  Hmmm.
So right now, I take it easy.  I can do stuff as long as I can stop and rest whenever things start hurting.  And I need to practically drown myself drinking water.  And we just pray that he flips himself up and stays up for a while and hope it helps with everything else.
Ok- I think that's it for now. I'll try to get the pictures or some video or something up soon.
